Today I read an article about Mitochondria so I reminded of my high school’s
biology class.
Do you
know how Mitochondria are inherited to the children? I found some information
on Mitochondria below. I found some surprising things!
“An individual's mitochondrial genes are
not inherited by the same mechanism as nuclear genes. Typically, the
mitochondria are inherited from one parent only. In humans, when an “ovum” is fertilized by a sperm, the egg nucleus
and sperm nucleus each contribute equally to the genetic makeup of the “Zygote” nucleus.
In contrast, the
mitochondria, and therefore the mitochondrial DNA, usually come from the egg only.
The sperm's mitochondria enter the egg but do not contribute genetic
information to the embryo. Instead, paternal mitochondria are marked with ‘Ubiquitin’ to select them for later destruction
inside the ‘Embryo’.
The egg cell contains relatively few
mitochondria, but it is these mitochondria that survive and divide to
populate the cells of the adult organism. Mitochondria are, therefore, in
most cases inherited only from mothers, a pattern known as ‘Maternal
inheritance’. This mode is
seen in most
organisms including all animals.”
God’s ability of creation is higher than the
Science.
Revelation
4 : 11 “You are worthy, our Lord and God,
to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things, and by your will they were created and have
their beings”
When God created the things on Earth he put his will to all. Then, at this
point we have to think about ‘what was his will when he made Mitochondria to be
inherited only from mother?’.
We can come to the conclusion that only the life is given through mother
finally, so therefore, this is the reason. What we have to know is that mother’s
love given by Mitochondria. If we don’t have Mitochondria in our single cell,
we might not be able to live longer or continue to produce offspring.
Just like our physical life, our spiritual life is also processed in the
same way to this. Our lives will finally be given by our God the Mother. So, in
this time of Holy Spirit, we have to know her and need to find the same Mitochondria
DNA that is only given through Heavenly mother.
